In 1962, JWF was appointed as the Scottish Technical Sales Office for Fisher and Porter. The relationship between the companies continued until Elsag Bailey acquired Fischer & Porter in 1994. JWF Ltd diversified with the Bailey products.

In 1995, the role of JWF continued to expand when the Hartmann & Braun products were acquired by Elsag Baily.

In 1999, ABB acquired Elsag Bailey. Combined, this amounted to approximately 200 years of business experience. JWF was appointed the ABB Channel Partner in Scotland. This partnership combined the extensive range of instrumentation available from ABB, plus the 40 years experience and knowledge from JWF.
