Accounts Administrator - Modern Apprenticeship
JWF are searching for an Accounts Administrator to work within our team in Glasgow whilst completing a Modern Apprenticeship in Accounting. We wish to recruit a school leaver who may prefer to enter employment straight from school rather than attend higher education.

- Starting salary of £12,750 per year

JWF staff provide engineering expertise alongside our portfolio of world class instrumentation products and services. We provide measurement products and services to support our customers’ demands throughout the lifecycle of their operation.
Your apprenticeship will fulfil the role of Accounts Administrator within the Finance and Customer Services functions of the business. Working directly with qualified and experienced staff members, you will develop business and bookkeeping skills within a fast-moving technical sales environment.
The role will be exposed to all aspects of JWF business processes, including:
- Sales, purchasing, inventory and general ledger processing and operations
- Bank and cash
- Reconciliation and financial analysis
- General office administration duties
What will I learn?
JWF wish to support career development through an Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification attaining a recognised Accountancy qualification.
In your first year you will undertake a Modern Apprenticeship in Accounting SCQF Level 5 in which you will complete an AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting.
Once successful JWF would support completion of an AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting before continuing to an AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting. Thereafter there are further opportunities for professional qualification.

You must have attained 4 Higher passes including Maths and English, both preferably at A grade.
