Flow Survey at Prudential Offices
Customer Issue
One of our Service Engineers conducted an ultrasonic flow survey at the Prudential offices in Stirling.
The flow survey was carried out to measure the flow rate of chilled water which forms part of the buildings air conditioning system.

Solution
We used our Flexim FLUXUS F608 portable ultrasonic flow meter to carry out the flow survey.
Parameters:
- Line Size: 326.9mm
- Wall Thickness: 9.5mm
- Medium: Water
- Temperature: 30°C

Outcome
We matched the chiller stages with a recommended flow rate to suit each stage based on the drive speed.
The measurement was successful with very strong diagnostic results from the portable ultrasonic flowmeter.
