Flow Survey at Waste Water Treatment Works

Customer Issue

Customer required flow survey to check feasibility of using ultrasonic clamp-on flow meter technology for measuring consistency of flow within pipe repeatedly over a period of time.

Outcome

During the test we observed negative flow. An investigation found an issue with a non-return valve.

The cost of the unit paid for itself within ten minutes.

This led to the customer purchasing three units of Flexim Fluxus WD400 which are permanently fixed clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters.
