Flow Survey at Glenlee Hydro Electric Power Station
Customer Issue
Customer required a flow survey to check feasibility of using Flexim ultrasonic clamp-on flow meter technology for measuring any over velocities within the pipe.
The customer also wanted to check that the valves were not passing when fully closed.
Solution
The feasibility tests were carried out with a Flexim F601 portable ultrasonic clamp-on flow meter and K Shearwave transducers.

- Pipe Size: 1800mm
- Wall Thickness: 17mm
- Medium: Water
Outcome
Our customer received a detailed flow survey report showing the flow results.
