Tank Calibration at Teaninich Whisky Distillery

Customer Issue

The customer wanted to check for discrepancies in one of their yeast tanks.

Liquid is transferred from a 20m³ yeast tank into a 5m³ yeast tank. The customer was unsure of how much liquid was left in the 20m³ tank.

 

 

 

 

Our Solution

We calibrated both tanks to verify levels using the JWF mobile tank calibration rig.

JWF's calculation software generated tank strapping numbers to verify accuracies.

The strapping tables provided were then used for the Vega linearization table.

The distillery can manage their yeast process and usage more accurately driving efficiencies.
