Graduate Supply Chain Coordinator

JWF has a reputation as ‘measurement experts’ for major organisations including Macallan, Diageo, Harbour Energy,Scotia Gas Networks, Howdens and Ineos.

JWF and sister company Stream Measurement, provide a wide range of measurement, services and data solutions to the water, process, utility, energy, food and beverage sector. We are partners with several of the world’s leading instrumentation providers including ABB, WIKA and Flexim.

We manage major projects supplying instrumentation packages to blue chip customers. To continue our growth we are looking to recruit a recent graduate within our established Supply Chain Team.

Overall the role is to:

• Help represent the company in large and/or complex bids, orders and projects
• Support the team with technical issues and ensure effective supply chain delivery
• Build & develop effective relationships with internal and external customers including attendance at meetings.
• Review & improve business processes to maximise business opportunities and effectively manage costs
• Solve complex logistical problems.
• Expedite orders, manage inspections and control documentation submittal.
• Review technical specification for projects.
• Provide cover for the warehouse, supporting the goods in/out process
• Liaise with vendors to monitor their performance.
• Provide updates to customers on calls, teleconferences and meetings
• Ensure they exceed customer expectations and their own standard – ‘commitment beyond measure’

Ideally you will be:

• A recent graduate with an operations/supply chain and/or engineering/technical degree
• Confident in dealing with customers
• Knowledgeable on measurement technologies within the process industry is desirable but training would be provided
• IT literate with an interest and knowledge of Microsoft Excel packages
• Able to integrate and add value to a successful team in a dynamic environment
• An outgoing, ambitious and disciplined individual with an attention to detail
