Customer Issue
Major offshore operator contacted JWF requiring a high pressure (HP) solution based on a hub process connection for new and existing flowlines.
Obsolescence of previous hub style pressure transmitters was the main issue facing the operator.
Solution
JWF conducted a review and offered an ABB 266HRH gauge pressure transmitter assembly integrated with a Hub connection.
The assembly was supplied with exotic wetted parts, both F51 duplex and F53/F55 super duplex.
This hub style transmitter has many advantages:
- Compact design means space and weight saving
- Calibrated range 0-1,050 barg
- Overpressure protection > 2,000 barg
- All welded design
Outcome
JWF have supplied over 30 of these new assemblies to support obsolete instruments.

The customer now has a future-proof solution allowing them to maintain their assets going forward.
